Those things are required only for playing in 3D as far as I understood.

and some people still will say that pc/360 games aren't exclusive cause they can play them on pc. well how many of you, ps3 owners can play 360 games on pc with better or even comparable graphics without terrible framerate?

it's interesting how they add "features" that few people will use, such as the "filters" in SFIV and now this one. and considering their support for the SFIV, the chances of fixing/adding stuff like quarter matches are nil I guess.

It's easier when you see that the requirements in the OP are only for viewing the game in 3D.
