Not to sure about that Munkeh but if Sony has the slim ready to go as suggested in another thread I reckon MS are facing a uphill battle.

I think the price cut matters more than the slim design does. I doubt people are waiting to pick up a PS3 because of aesthetics.
only the asians especially japanese can make things small.
have anyone seen their new OLED 40' TV.
crazy!.
slim it's a important factor, it made nokia 6300 sell more then 22 million in a year, psp and DS get the world interested into them.
For those people going on about the HDD being a issue they could just release a adapter cable so you can run old HDD's external from the console, this would also allow you to copy the contents of your old fat HDD onto the new slimmer version or just run it in the event you're at a friends. This is not rocket science.
A slimmer 360 will be released at some point as Microsoft need a chassis redesign to increase reliability too also.
I don't see why they need one. It's small as it is and you can find them for very cheap. They should just stay concentrated on fixing the hardware and getting us some good games.
i don't know abt a 360 slim cause they still have problems (rrod) with their original console but if they do they really need to focus on how to get rid of 360
i was going to get the 360 orginaly but the rrod my friend was having like every 5-7 months i stopped myself from buying it and wondered when nintendo and sony will come out with their consoles for this gen cause i really wanted to play some mario games and i am a racing fan aswell so i wanted gran turismo back then and was waiting for sony's and nintendo's console and after they released i bought the wii obviously but after ps3's seeing price i was like omg like sony what have u done
so basic point here is that rrod stopped me from buying 360
