Its been a while since I played but I just finished it and got all 242 stars. I got bored when I played Luigi because its all the sames levels but I finished it. I hope Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be better.

congrats, i just couldn't force myself to finish the game, the game bored me so much, i only got to 72 stars.

I was satisfied with it. Mario Galaxy, at the time, was more than I could have hoped for (I did have lower expectations for it, though). It still ranks among the best gaming experiences I've had this gen. Going back and playing through it again, though I had a hard time motivating myself. This was bizarre to me. I played all of the other Mario games (even Super Mario Sunshine) from beginning to end several times.

Long story short, I'm buying Galaxy 2 and NSMB Wii. I hope (and I'm almost positive) they'll be better, too.

what... the mario part was fun but when you get to luigi then it getting boring because its the same levels

Congrats, that's an amazing thing all stars.

I did it twice with Mario, and once with Luigi. It's my joint favourite game of this generation, and I can't wait till Galaxy 2 comes out.

Awesome, fun and beatiful game. I collected 100 stars and gave up on the rest. My five years old son is playing the game from the begining and I am having a blast giving him a little help with the my other wiimote.
