Urgh, I read a sentence that included both Gears of War and Story. That's like breaking the law of physics...
And I don't know about playing Gears with a Dualshock, I just know that playing Gears with a 360 controller felt really bad after having played Metroid Prime 3 on Wii. Between the 360 and the PS3 controller I can't state that one is better than the other as fact. It's just opinion. My opinion is that the Dualshock is a better controller than the 360 controller even though it's really really old by now.

The controller? The controller is perfect! How can you make it better? Everything is uniform and it has all the buttons you need. I can accept the fact that the 360 controller could be better than the PS3 one but you don't give a game a higher score because you aren't good enough to play a game with a different controller. Hundreds of millions of gamers like the way the PS controller is.

Bullshit, is bullshit, regardless of which console it is "trying" to support. While I do prefer the 360 controller to the PS3 (my opinion) that would in NO WAY affect the video quality of either game (the original contention).

IF he doesn't like the complaints, explain the discrepancies, or shut up.

Now as to the Halo and Gears stories...these IP's have either multiple books or upcoming comics based on their universes...clearly there is a story there. If you don't care for the stories, that's cool, but let's stop pretending that there is NO story.

the sony controller is a joke and it was the reason i finally sold my ps3
there is no way u can use the 2 fingers to move the analog pads down there
is not ergonomically correct not to mention super easy to move around because the analogs lack resistance
the placement of the dpad is right though but who cares about the dpad anyway
people should have a choice about the placement of the analog pads in their controllers
make 2 versions or something is not that hard!
but i understand that maybe the controller is better for left-handed people in mind... for everyone else is terrible
the only games i could play well was pro evo soccer, wipeout and fighters of course
but these games dont matter these days.

another problem with the ps3 that noone is talking about is how blurry the games look in an lcd screen
if u compare a game with xbox u will see what im talking about!
its because most multiplatform games have super low resolution usually lower than the xbox version
so is so far from the native 1366x768 or even worse 1920x1080 of the screen and that makes the image SOFT
the xbox is near 720p standards most of the time so the picture is crystal clear especially in 720p tvs
the ps3 cant even display 720p correctly. GTA IV is the example compare the 2 versions now same tv side by side
in the ps3 version looks like N64 and u know it.
