Does restoring factory settings take the updates away from ps3? If so I just came up with a good idea.

edit: also the previous frimware are no longer available on sony's website, so I can't find a way to reinstall firmware 2.70 which was working perfectly

restore system settings is different...what you did is delete data.. restore system settings makes it pure reset

that was the first thing the tech support told me to do but the firmware was still there and so was the problem, so far the game that's most affect by it is team fortress because the game used to be all colorfull but now it's look more like killzone brownish

Yeah I know it's a pain but I hope the next firmware will repare this, I'm sure it was some kind of installation error if not I'll try some colour-stream cable or send it to sony
