I've been tempted to buy The Wheelman for $19.99, is the game any good? is it worth that price? or should i wait till it drops to $9.99?

Well I just finished the game a few days ago. I really enjoyed the game just a warning though, the game has some freeze issues. Usually these happen during loading points but only lock for a few seconds I only had it completely freeze on me a few times. I rented it from Gamefly and I was satisfied with the game itself for 20 bucks I would buy it.

@ LordMatrix, how long is the game? are the missions fun or repetitive?

I think finished the game around 20 hours or so. I did most of the side missions though since you unlock stuff doign them and some of them are kinda fun. The story missions are not repetitive to much they mixed up the gameplay enough IMO. The AI is a little dumb and it's not really that hard to get away from cops once you figure it out you can have max wanted level and stay alive forever. Overall it is a fun game. If you like driving games, sandbox style games like GTA or are a fan of Diesel I say go for it.

thanks for the impressions, 20 hours seems good to me

I got the game when it was onsale at Best Buy for $29.99, I think it was well worth it, so $20 is defintiely a good deal, IMO.  The story mode is not 20 hours, more like 8 maybe, but there are tons of side missions, which might make the game rack up about 20 hours.  The story is fun.  There were a lot of bad reviews about the on-foot gameplay, but I enjoyed it as well as the awesome vehicle gameplay. 

Yes for that price.

I liked the demo, but I'll wait for the price to go down.

man IMO any game is not bad enough to be at 9.99 and still not worth the price... so if it's even remotely interesting 19.99 should be a good price.....

its a crappy game
maybe for $5 but not 20
