Isn't that Halo 3??

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

Ultima Online since 2001. Played it on and off for about a year now but i still log on every couple of weeks.

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

I had 2+ solid years in Star Wars Galaxies. I didn't care for it after the second combat upgrade(complete rehaul of the combat system), which also gimped crafting. I had a Bothan smuggler, who went into bounty hunting eventually. My alt was a human musician before he got into building starships and components. I really miss the game, but found it painful to pay Sony a monthly fee for a bastardized version of the game. Oh well SWG, we'll always have fond memories of the Theed cantina. :)

For me, it's also Team Fortress Classic, but I think TF2 is the first game since 1999 to recapture the fun of TFC when it launched (and when it relaunched as "TF 1.5" with new maps). TF2 doesn't have the same feel of TFC today, it has the feel of TFC when it launched, and I think many of the changes are designed to prevent it from devolving the way TFC did over the years.

it's either starcraft , warcraft 3 or counter-strike ... played all of them for at least 5-6 years

Sheer hours online would be Subspace or Quake 2. (Well over 1000's for each)

Sheer length of time over years would be Warcraft 3, and maybe starcraft, but that was off and on.

See Ya George.

At least following a comedians own jokes makes his death easier.

None ever.

Plenty of time with friends on same TV though. I just love seeing their faces when I beat them at the finish line in Mario Kart or kill them 5 times in a row in Goldeneye.
