Watched the movie yesterday. Damn it was good.

Saw this too, one of the best movies this year, easily.

It only costs 30 million to make so if it goes under the radar then that's not the end of the world but it is Blomkamp's ticket into Hollywood even if it doesn't do too well. It will most certainly become a cult classic and it does show what he can do so maybe it can convince the Hollywood Hollowheads.

BTW, the movie made 37 mil over the weekend.

I was just telling someone yesterday that this should be out soon. Yeah I was excited when I saw this trailer before Transformers. I remember they had the alien's face blurred out though, like witness protection or something. I'm stoked to go see this.

Seeing it today. I have a feeling MS missed out on not having this guy do Halo.

Hell no you didn't....28 days later is a turd floating in vomit....District 9 is fucking awesome, and alot closer to cloverfield but with out shaky cam.

It some what feels like a documentry at times, but done in such a way that they can still have action and have no break the illusion of being something like a documentry, it's so much better than 28 days later, and GI: joe which was just released a week or to ago, god damn GI:joe was shit, the 1st 3/4 of the file was great, only for the bullshit card to be summoned and ruin the last 30 minutes of the film, I swear that movie just rubbed me the wrong way, felt like pimp slapping it with a knuckle buster....XD

I saw it on Friday and it was great.  I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did.  Did anyone else get a Mass Effect feeling during the scene where they stormed the MNU headquarters?

I did not see District 9 but if its half as good as 28 Days later the director did his job. 28 Days later was amazing and a very well reviewed movie and just because you don't like it doesn't mean its a "turd floating in vomit"
