Forums - Sony - One Way Sony can make a comeback without a price cut.

thank you shadow soldier for shutting Tyig up, i hate it when people come into a topic just to bash it...as for the singstar thing, it might work...but it might even be better if they do a guitar hero or rockband thing exclusively for a console (i know it's next to impossible)...in the end, it doesnt really matter what game they release...as long as it's a good game with good reviews, all sony needs to do is milk that game by marketing it and attract customers..i also agree with the person who said something about final fantasy...when one thinks of that game, we think of sony and even though it's multiplatform, sony can make it sell on their system really well and even push consoles if it's bundled

I do think that at least 2 to 3 million people will run out and buy a 200 dollar game heavily featuring the Beatles music.

I think that with the King of Pop being the showcase they could make this the most popular Singstar title ever. Console mover maybe not but an October release with a commercial and MJ and others doing thriller would be awesome. Help improve the casual image.

I think it's a good move in integrating all the assets that Sony controls and thus a good idea. But nothing a pricecut wouldn't do better. I still would call this a Killer App as my love of Singstar and MJ would make it so to me.

This is my current residence Austin TX breaking the world record having the most people perform Thriller at the same time. Even the Mayor is in there.

Freddy Mercury is dead and they have singstar Queen. Half of the Beatles are dead and they have Rock band Beatles, so why are MS fans trolling on this thread? MJ was on Sony's label so it would more then make sense to have a singstar with him in it.

I don't think it would move as many PS3's as the OP thinks though.

Yeah, because saying Michael Jackson will help ps3 and start a comeback is so possible and positive

The man sold 147M records off of one album....anything is possible

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

When I sad Comeback I didnt mean something like over taking the Wii or even the 360 I meant YoY sales. Since according to various threads on VGC PS3 sales are down from last year. When I say comeback I mean over taking and beating the sales they had last year

What are you, trolling police? No one here is trolling... using a dead celebrity's songs to pay off his debt can be considered shocking to some.
