Forums - PC - LucasArts on Steam NOW

Alright, since yesterday (for me) you can buy the following games on Steam:

- The Dig, Indy and the Last Crusade and the Fate of Atlantis, Loom and Star Wars: Starfighter for $4.99 each
- Republic Commando and Armed and Dangerous for $9.99
- Battlefront 2, Thrillville and LEGO Indy for $19.99

There are obviously more games coming soon, since there are lots of other games, not only adventure but Star Wars games too.

Maybe there will be some sort of deal, but I think it will take a while, as they could have made one for this pack already

loom is good, but the dig is better, and indiana jones and the fate of atlantis is also really good.

Got loom already now, liking it so far. The dig does look good too and i will probably get that at some point in the future.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is a brilliant p&c adventure game, even 16 years after its initial release. A real classic.

It's by far the best of the 4 offered adventure games in my opinion (my ranking behind FoA: Loom - The Last Crusade - The Dig).

I never played any of them except the demo of The Dig, usually I bought games on magazines (by today's exchange rate they were ~7 dollars) and they weren't sold in these. The demo of Grim Fandango was included in one of these magazines too, but that was it. There was a friend that loved Grim Fandango too, but I never borrowed it from him, and a friend of my dad loved Monkey Island too.

so I bought all four, I will get the new Monkey Island next week so I'm only charged next month, and I'm looking forward to the remake and the other adventure games.

thankfully I'm with a new monitor that doesn't stretch the screen, I gave up playing The Longest Journey in the other monitor because I couldn't see a part of the screen. so yeah, I still have some games to finish.

I played the beginning of both Indy games, The Last Crusade obviously shows its age, could do with a remake IMO, FoA seems cool. and I just warped in The Dig, so far I think it's amazing. I have issues with those menus filled with options (yeah, I know it's like that, but I don't like..) so I like The Dig because it's pretty straightforward

Battlefront 2 was epic.

Do the classic adventure games run on modern Windows? (Or even Linux running Steam in WINE?) If so I would pay that much for the "compatibility" patch for the ones I already own. (Plus I've only played the demo for The Dig and Loom.)

I wonder if they'll release X-Wing and TIE Fighter in the XvT engine they made awhile back since I missed out on those and loved the classics.
