I may be WAY off for all I know. I don't know a lot about how the system works, but here's my story.
Today, my wife got Push on Bluray. I put in the disk.
First time: Nothing. My background color was black (Normally green) and My wallpaper I have on there was gone. Though the little transparent lines were moving in the background still.
Second time: I put the Disk in. It said something about "Renewing database" Or something like that. Something to do with the database. I was a little worried. The background was the same as in the First time I tried. It didn't fill any of the download bar, then it left that screen and listed the options like normal (Video, games network, ect).
Third time: The same Database screen showed up. This time it worked. All 100%. Nothing seemed to be wrong. The movie wasn't starting though. So I was looking at it, the games and info on my PS3 are put into new looking folders. That looks ok. Then my wife said "Hey, what's with the PS/PS2 memory card option in game section?". I said "It's not BC, so I never looked into it, I didn't even know it had that option." So, I stuck in an old copy of FF VII I had sitting around. And it told me to make a internal memory card. So I did. Now the game loads and plays.
I've tried older games in my PS3 before. They never worked. Am I missing something, or did I find a way to make this bad boy BC?
