Shame on Microsoft for not coming up with their won original story, not that it would have been any better.

All valid points, but considering how shamelessly Blizzard pillaged Games Workshop's Warhammer lore in Warcraft, I have trouble feeling bad for them for being on the other side of it.

Never played warhammer, but Ill take your word for it. At any rate I thought the Warcraft and Starcraft games had excellent stories. Halo's story was also good up until the lackluster finale. It wasnt as bad as say Gears2 but it could have been so much more better.

Atleast Gears 2's story was relatively easy to follow which I can't say the same for Halo's story.

Microsoft had almost nothing to do with the actual development of Halo.  Blame Bungie for stealing from Starcraft.

You must have a short attention span, I found the Halo story ridiculously easy to follow.

I bet you can't summarize Metal Gear Solid's story to me and I mean the entire series.  I never beated a Halo games and never read the novels so naturally I can't follow the story properly.

Yeah, see, there we go. Why did you even bother saying that the story line was hard to follow if you never played through the games???
