They will create a new saga. Metal Gear something or maybe a new Snake.

The Snake character should be completely abandoned now IMO, I don't want them to milk it. Kojima is a brilliant writer and I think he can create a really interesting protagonist that we will all come to know and love. He probably won't be as interesting as Snake, but he will still be super cool. As for Raiden, he was pretty badass in MGS4, but I can't imagine myself being stealthy with him and going behind enemies and doing the kickass chokes.

The Twins Snakes game was a half assed, mediocre remake. The voice acting was terrible (That cast did it before, so they gave little effort the second time around) and the cut scenes were awful (How is Snake more athletic than a cyborg ninja?). I think this was around the time Kojima started to lose it. MGS1 for PS1 is still the best MGS title to date.

After watching (for the most part) MGS4, I prefer that someone else take over the franchise. Hand it over to a western dev.

Better controls, graphics and cutscenes directed by some japanese action director.  Great game.

1- A true remake?  KOJIMA FRONTED THE PROJECT.   He went to Nintendo, they got Silicon Knights, He got the driector to do his cutscenes (which he approved of) and made it for the gamecube (which he wanted.)

 

Its as true as a remake as you can get.  Since you know THE GUY WHO CREATED IT had a say in all of this. 

 

2- When Twin snakes does it, its an abomination.  When MGS4 does the exact same thing then uses nanomachines to fill in the plot (why is naomi with vamp? Nanomachines....Wait shouldnt raiden bleed to death with no arms?  A wizard did it...I mean nanomachines."" ITS A OK! 

 

 

I don't remember snake doing wild back flips and surfing on missiles in MGS4? Now did he? Raiden is a man implanted with Cyborgnetic parts nuff said.

Vamp was introduced as a Freak of nature and died a freak of nature.

I agree the remake was horrible.

But how stupid can you be? Hand it over to a western dev? What western dev could possibly do what Konami have done with Metal Gear?

I`ll tell you something: Metal Gear Solid is an Intellectual game. That`s the reason it can`t be developed by a western gun-fetish jarhead dev like those who created garbage like gow and gta series.

You already saw what silicon knights did, right-o_o?

Yeah its not like Snake was injected with Nanomachines that when everyone else is the series is introduced too suddenly did supernatural shit or things completly breaking character.

 

Oh wait a minute he did.  Case closed.  Kojima story writing at its finest, he had nanomachines, he can do what he wants from missile flips to giving people heart attacks.  Or be a clone of a soldier who apparently builds 50 feet mechs.
