"Videogame portátil da Sony vai ganhar histórias em quadrinhos via download

PSP vai ter acesso a HQs digitais pela loja virtual PlayStation Network.

A Sony anunciou nesta quarta-feira (8) que vai lançar histórias em quadrinhos no formato digital para seu videogame portátil PSP (PlayStation Portable).

As publicações estarão disponíveis para download na versão japonesa da loja virtual PlayStation Network no final de 2009.

A Sony não informou quais gêneros e títulos serão lançados, nem se pretende estender o serviço a usuários de outros países. O preço das HQs também não foi revelado.

Os quadrinhos digitais serão compatíveis com todos os modelos de PSP, incluindo o recém-anunciado PSP Go, com memória interna de 16 GB, mudanças no design e foco voltado a jogos por download."

"Sony announced this Wednesday (8) that will launch comics in digital format for your portable video game PSP (PlayStation Portable).
The publications are available for download in the Japanese version of the virtual store PlayStation Network in late 2009. Sony does not say which titles will be launched and Genre, or whether it'll extend the service to users in other countries. The price of the HQs has not been revealed. The digital comic will be compatible with all models of PSP, including the newly announced PSP Go, with 16 GB of internal memory, changes in design and focused on the game download."

Would love if they did a deal with marvel and DC vertigo to let me get my comics via subscription from my psp.

I don't see how anyone can fault extra content and services.

Well, they migth, but the article says that the service will start in Japan First, so it must be anime in the begining. Nothing stops DC and Marvel from using the tool later, though...

And I thougth the anime guys would be drolling for this. You could buy the fisical copy for collection and the digital one for use. They are just following the Amazon trend.
