fak.
I always seem to be in the wrong region.

I expect an announcement for the rest of the world soon, maybe that Euro game show or that comic con in San Diego.

That's a cool idea.

Except I'm not sure how profitable it would be.

Comic books still thrive despite internet piracy because of the fact that most collectors/fans enjoy having a physical copy in their collection.

Why would people pay for an electronic version of a comic book when it can be easily downloaded (illegally mind you) on the internet?

Again, it's a cool idea, but I'm not sure how smart of a business move it'd be.

Same reason on why the music industry was able to survive and profit through digital downloads? Lots of people still buy and collect CDs while the rest of us just buy them digitally.
Say you're a comic fanatic and you're going on a 2 week trip, now you can take 30 comic books with you or you can pay .99 to 2.99 for the comics digitally (or more for others with voice and anime and stuff, I saw the suggested price but I don't remember the pricing right now).

^Same here. I honestly hope the PSP gets an ebook reader via PSN appstore at some point.
