I think it might happen and that the only other aplicable shooter this year, Killzone 2, might be overlooked for two reasons:

1) MW2 is a Call of Duty game

2) In order to keep everyone happy, they might give the award to MW2 simply because it's multiplatform

Yes. MW2 is the halo of both consoles. Well the 360 still has Halo but its MW2 is like a 1up. PS3 has KZ2 so thats like a 1up i suppose :p

I think that Halo:Odst will be the best shooter of the year. Just because I didn't like the e3 demo that much(for Modern Warfare 2)

of course it will win shooter of the year but not on all sites
killzone 2 will win on a couple of sites but the majority will be for mw2
