No I have a 360, but MechWarrior belongs on the PC, the thought of playing MechWarrior without a keyboard and mouse is horrible. There would be no good way to control it with a 360 controller. Plus putting it on the 360 would limit its potential, the possibilities are limitless with the PC.

Why won't you be able to use a Keyboard Mouse on 360?

I think if the game is optimized for the Xbox 360 control it should work fine...If the controls don't work..then they were not optimized....

Putting on 360 would not limit it's potential at all...If the Devs are not up too it..then that's a different story....

The game goes were MS tells it to go....Plain and simple....Lone wolf was fantastic I would welcome a new Mechassualt game...Mechwarrior..never played it...

True that.  While it still isn't perfect, Halo Wars showed us that a lot can be done with a controller if it's optimized properly...

Why is someone talking of mouse and keyboard?

This game was best with Joystick and keyboard (twist, force feedback, view stick, 1 trigger and 4 Thumb buttons.... basically the equivalent of a gamepad mapped to one hand with a natural feeling to it).

(difference with gamepad is that you can use 3 axis and a triger at the same time with just one hand... gamepad doesn't even have 3 axis (XY, Twist, View axis) (well the sixaxiss but I doubt this would work porperly here... and we're looking at 360)).

cool, hopefully it gets released on the PS3.

X2 how could you stand playing with a mouse. Joystick is a must with a Mechwarrior title. Saitexk X36 for  me. If this comes out I'll be buying one of these.

yeah just like Forza 2, Fable 2, Gears of War and Halo 3 were released on ps3 ;) MS owns the franchise so there's no way they would give green light for a ps3 version.

i hope it will be on 360 i would love to play some good mecha game on hd console that doesn't look like another Dynasty Warriors with robots.

Joysticks were fun in MW4 until you decided to play online or competitively in tournaments.

After that you come to realization that you need the extra accuracy provided by the mouse.

you're comparing a 10 yold stick to a brand new one there :p

Though yours doesn't have force feedback... I found this particularly fun in Mechwarrior 4 as the stick shifted left and right with the leg movements and you felt every hit you took =)

I did play online... but it's true the only thing I was good at was capture the flag with a small mech with jetpack :p

(then again I never played a FPS either at the time so I didn't know the wonders of mouse aiming :p)
