No, that was owned by FASA Studios which sold it to this new company Smith and Tinker.  I think Microsoft only had a publishing deal with them

Thats too bad, I had thought that they actually sold the rights to Smith and Tinker. I just hope they dont make another version like MechAssault and put it on the 360. These need to stay on the PC like they originally were.

^ yeah but mechassault and MechWarrior are different games, I would gladly welcome a Mechassault game to the 360.

I would welcome both games, but in all honestly I found Mechwarrior 3 to be one of the best games I had ever played.



GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

It'd be better on a console! Big Screen + Big Mechs = Mega carnage!

(Though my HTPC will be quite the best by the time it comes out)

No I have a 360, but MechWarrior belongs on the PC, the thought of playing MechWarrior without a keyboard and mouse is horrible. There would be no good way to control it with a 360 controller. Plus putting it on the 360 would limit its potential, the possibilities are limitless with the PC.

I would buy day 1 if it if for the 360. I have been waiting to see what Smith and Tinker is.

And Smith and Tinker is basically Fasa. Just not owned by Microsoft

Why won't you be able to use a Keyboard Mouse on 360?

I think if the game is optimized for the Xbox 360 control it should work fine...If the controls don't work..then they were not optimized....

Putting on 360 would not limit it's potential at all...If the Devs are not up too it..then that's a different story....

The game goes were MS tells it to go....Plain and simple....Lone wolf was fantastic I would welcome a new Mechassualt game...Mechwarrior..never played it...
