@Darth after playing this game you will understand why other JRPG's feels so 'outdated'. This is what the JRPG industry needs...Innovation and take risks like Atlus did.

I prefer Persona above this though.

Would put it in the same leaque as Digital Devil Saga serie.


@Darth: I recommend you to get all the SMT PS2 games.  Not only are they quite cheap but they also give you a long and great experience.

Well not really but it's close enough.

And if that isn't good enough you can always just include that dog you have to dog to for one of the Shrine missions or if you like cats that cat you have to feed and then sits by your house or that Spacey Girl because she is probably the best NPC character in the game.

I have already guilted the shit out of him for not having it awhile back so he knows :P

I'll tell you this now. Persona 4 is probably the best JRPG (Outside of FFX) to ever grace the PS2. There arent many games like P4 and It does so many things well. It improves the genre but it doesnt forget where it came from. And The Cast is so Awesome honestly its a 10/10 for me.

You might need to do a couple free battles. Do you have a king frost? Put him with yuza + another good magic user and you have no mp problems and a very damaging unit. Also, Pendragon is good as a glass cannon: it kills fast but dies quick. Lastly, a power with recarm might help if you do not have one.

As for the strat I used, I killed basically all the units and then sent my MC against Beldr. Have his unit consist of one unit with media, put dia on him, and have fortify as your automatic ability. In battle, guard with the two devils and use devil forge on him with the mc. When he gets to about 1/3 he will summon new units. Have yuza be on the top area of the screen to intercept the cait sith units; these are the most deadly. Have another group on the bottom, but these units are less dangerous.

Lastly, have as much charm/meda/devotion as possible to counteract his vampire ability.

Nah, it's too soon to get another Persona game. They should give it like a 5 year rest and change it like they did with P2 to P3. I still need to finish Persona 2.
