Rumor: Syphon Filter 5, SOCOM 4 Coming to PS3? 0 As far as Sony’s big properties go, most of them have already seen a retail release on the PlayStation 3, or at least will be coming in the near future. Syphon Filter and SOCOM have not (unless you want to count the busted SOCOM: Confrontation), but that might be changing. According to a listing on motion capture studio PCB Productions, (via CVG) they’re working on motion caption for both SOCOM 4 and Syphon Filter 5 — two games that haven’t been officially announced yet. The listing has SOCOM 4 “in development”, while Syphon Filter 5 is shown as being developed at Sony Bend, the developer that has done three Syphon Filter games: Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror, Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow and Syphon Filter: Combat Ops. We’ll put word into Sony and see if they have any comment on the matter. If so, we’ll be sure to let you know what they say.
