There are some really bad "best rated" levels too (or at least last I looked which was a few months ago)...

Who says that would be greater then the best level of super mario galaxy? That's totally subjective anyway, but I like 3d platformers more then 2d ones anyway.

Not really. Yes, it has a foreground and background, but it's still really just a 2D game (and there isn't anything wrong with that).

It was just the same as super smash bros brawl subspace emmisary when I played it. Only without the fighting and something that I don't know the english world for lol. It has some 3d elements I suppose, but I wouldn't call it 3d.

Yeah, LBP is one if the prettiest games I have seen so far this gen.
Gotta go with Super Mario Galaxy.
Still Mario. Personally, critically and commercially. All the other platformers are playing catch-up with it and always will be.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!
