pssh.. despite the current consensus I preffered the combat system in the first game, it just felt alot more visceral, and less like you were playing a superman game. The plot too, was much better.

Im not saying the sequel was egregiously bad, some bits like the 1000 heartless battle were really well done, I dunno, i just felt less satisfied with the plot, I felt like it took itself a bit too seriously.

No need for the flame shield. That's how most people feel about the series though.
