Where's option C?

There is only option A and B

Ahh...I see.  Then my answer is: N/A.

I'll take a stab at this:

Achievements/Rewards - Does the console you own encourage you to continue playing? PS360
Console interface - Does the interface draw you in or do you feel lost? PS360
The online service - Which online service keeps on delivering and meeting your needs? Don't care for online. I guess PS3 because it's free
Multiplatform games - For which console do you prefer to purchase Mulitiplat games? Depends on which version has less flaws
* The library itself - Which library offers the most diverse selection of games? I have more 360 games, so 360
The controller - Does the controller make the experience more worthwhile? 360
The exclusives - Which console boasts the best and most inovative exclusives? Looking to the future, I'll give this to PS3 since it has more interesting exclusives for me personally

  • Achievements/Rewards - Does the console you own encourage you to continue playing? Yes, both do.
  • Console interface - Does the interface draw you in or do you feel lost? The XMB is easier to navigate. I sometimes get slightly lost in the NXE.
  • The online service - Which online service keeps on delivering and meeting your needs? Both, XBL has more features, PSN has no fees & more dedicated servers.
  • Multiplatform games - For which console do you prefer to purchase Mulitiplat games? PS3 mostly (for reliability, got previous games in series on PS1/2, etc) Sometimes on the 360 too (Orange Box, soon Bioshock 2)
  • The library itself - Which library offers the most diverse selection of games? The 360 has the most games overall, so that.
  • The controller - Does the controller make the experience more worthwhile? Yes, 360 pad for FPS, DS 3 for anything else.
  • The exclusives - Which console boasts the best and most inovative exclusives? The PS3.

Wii are not happy with this thread.

Video games are for losers. Go play a sport.

Eh, sure, I'll bite:

  • Rewards: Xbox 360.  I just feel achievements are more meaningful and better implemented.  I can earn a lot of trophies and not go up a level, but I can do the simplest thing and my game score goes right up.  Think of an MMO-- going from 35% to 45% into the next level isn't a big deal but going up a level is so you only get that mileston every now and then.  Going from 7,200 points to 7,300 still feels like a big deal so you always get that good feeling as your building up your score.  And then there's also the implementation.  Everything with the trophies just feels so sloppy-- checking them, synching them, everything.
  • Console Interface: Xbox 360.  I loved the old blades and NXE is good.  It's simple and easy to use.  I think the XMB is a good start but there are just too many sub menu's with too much stuff in them.
  • Online Service: Xbox 360.  I'll tell you the truth-- I don't care much about this one since I don't play online much.  When I have played online, it's usually on the 360 and the experience has been great.  About the only two things I can compare here is the store and the updates.  I fucking hate the PSN store, it's just confusing and a pain in the ass.  The MS marketplace on the other hand is seamlessly integrated into everything is just nice.  As for updates, even small updates over the PSN can take a long time but take very little time on the 360.
  • Multiplatform Games: Xbox 360 What can I say, multiplatform games just tend to be a little better on the 360.
  • The Library Itself: Xbox 360.  Looking at exclusives, the PS3 only has one I care about (Uncharted, maybe two if I count LBP) while the 360 has many so I suppose that makes the 360 win for me.
  • The Controller: Xbox 360.  This one is a no brainer, except for the D-Pad, the 360 controller is just incredible.  It's well weighted, buttons are easily accessable, and it fits well in your hand.  The D-Pad is an abomination but luckily most games don't require an accurate D-Pad.  The DS3 on the other hand has a great D-Pad but I've never liked the placement of the analog stick (I have big hands and my thumbs bump into each other) and the triggers are terrible.  While I can forgive a bad D-Pad since it is rarely used, the triggers I cannot forgive.
  • The Exclusives: Xbox 360.  Didn't I just answer this?  Meh, just look above.

All that said, my PS3 still gets A LOT of use because I use it as my media player.  I love watching Blu-Rays and I love how it makes my DVD's look.

I want to to get the thoughts of the community on this delicate subject, I please ask you to post in a professional manner which console you think provides the ultimate Gaming experience.

Quite easily neither of those systems.

The best console is the Triforce, which is the PSWii60. It has the best games period.

I feel bad for people who do not have the Triforce.

Wii like to play

The Xbox 360 of course.
