Haven't played Forza but it receives a lot of praise as well as Gran Turismo. So my guess would be the name -_-.

I don't need to say "I can buy Forza 3 when it comes out", you are a human being, I think that you have a brain and can interpret the sentence. When I said "I can play Forza 3" I wasn't defining time, did you saw "I can play Forza 3 now" in my sentence?

They're pretty much the same on paper.

Forza has mainly sports cars and Le Mans. GT has sports cars and Le Mans and Japanese GT and Rally and Formula 1 and ooooooold cars (as far back as the 1800's) and now NASCAR. It's much more comprehensive.

I prefer the way the driving in GT feels. In Forza, I might just be playing it wrong, but I feel like I'm drifting through every corner unintentionally. GT has better tracks, inarguably.

Forza has a lot of exterior customisation, but personally, I don't think that shit belongs in a racing sim.

That's a good point, GT is like a book on automotive history. Chances are if it existed and has any place in automotive history (i.e. not a Nissan Micra), it'll be in GT.

GT has 16 cars on track and Forza has 8. So Forza is kinda like GT with half as many cars.
