Amount of bullshots and crying over them never fails to impress me.

For example SCC looks like this,

pretty good progression. Hopefully games like splinter cell conviction become the status quo for 2010 and beyond. Probably not but it would be nice :)

What Splinter Cell Conviction runs at 2880p!? Awesome! It's amazing what they can squeeze out of the white/black box! Definitive!

See above, THAT'S what I expect from Conviction. I'm not sure why he chose blown up pics for a decent representation of the 360's graphical capablities, but oh well. It can't please everyone...


Lol I know that and I know what Splinter Cell Conviction really looks like (your pictures). I was just being sarcastic with his silly post. 5120x2880 resolution pictures.. lol

I have seen all the gameplay trailers and watched it at E3, it looks very good and I'll be picking it up.

I couldn't tell if he was in favor with SCC graphics or against them. I thought he was against trying to make out all the SCC pictures bullshots.

Well, I chose those very large pictures to show how they make those bullshots. When you scale them down you get so many effects for free that it looks much better than it is in reality. For forza 3 theres just about nothing but bullshots atm.

Those gigantic pictures you posted look worse then the real game (except the explosion). Look at the detail of Sam, he looks worse then a random pedestrian on the street in GTA 4.

And the Forza 3 pictures are from the ingame photomode. I don't consider it a bullshot if I can produce images of that quality myself with the click of a button in the full game. It still looks brilliant in-game motion.

Well, when you don't scale them they show how those models really look when rendered closer. I wonder how long does this ingame photomode render that picture. You do know that in-game you have to render one picture in 0.01 seconds... oh sorry on consoles its more like one picture in 0.03 seconds. When you give 1 sec for rendering for example you get superb results already.

Give it one day and you can get graphics like this(Actually you would run out of mem on consoles, but anyway.)

(Thats not real, btw.)
