yep, I bought Assassin's Creed, and GTA IV, and why? Because I trusted the reviewers and were absolutely betrayed by them. Are you arguing that Assassin's Creed is a good game to me, because many people bought it? Do you think that Pokemon is the best game? Wii Sports? I personally thought Assassin's Creed sucked, and there's nothing you can do to argue against it. You can't "disprove" that my opinions don't exist or anything, that's ridiculous.
And no, I'm not a Rainbow Six fan, I'm a Splinter Cell fan. If I want to play Rainbow Six, I'll buy Rainbow Six, not Splinter Cell.
And like I said, I'm going by what I'm seeing in the videos. That's the closest I can get before gameplay footage, and I'm only saying that I'm displeased with what I saw, and that I'm pessimistic, not that I know for a fact that the game is bad. I won't make a final judgement until I play it.

Hmm I dont mean to be rude or anything but its pretty much a"waah" thing your doing more than anything.What you dont like other ppl will love.And I guess opinions are opinions, and your entitled to yours.I would say Iam the exact opposite of you, I hate prior splinter cells,but i dont cry about em,Iam loving how this one is shaping up though so I preordered it.And your really should not follow reviews to the letter,read what are the pros and cons make up your own mind.Its like the time I got hyped for star ocean 4, and it really just crashed and burn for me but no biggie let me just move on.

To me all you guys are doing is word play. Defendants will use "tragic" and "accident", while Prosecutors use "horrible" and "murder". I find it dispicable that you guys resort to just literally saying "You're a cry baby".
Until recently, I only remember being insulted like that by pre-schoolers ("cry baby, cry baby").
You can say I'm "criticizing" or you can say that I'm "whining" and a "cry baby". Regardless you what you think, all I'm doing is laying out my opinions where it's approrpiate, in a forum. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, nor shameful.
I think that it's better for consumers to voice their opinions.
Fuck, companies spend money and make an effort to get consumers to fess up and say what they want. That's only a good thing for consumers and our economy. We buy things when they're something we want, and we don't buy things when we're not satisfied. I may be in the minority, but I'll still do my best as a consumer, and put pressure against Ubisoft to meet my demands and needs, and if they can't meet it, I'll simply not buy the product, and they'll lose a customer.
I might be in the minority, and who knows, the game might appeal to more people and may sell better, but I can only do what little power I had in the beginning and "whine" just like everyone else "whined" that the game was too hard and technical stealth, and demanded for action.
You guys are getting what you want by doing the exact same thing I'm doing now, "whining". That's how life works, that's how our economy works, and that's how we keep moving forward, by competition, conflict, and discussion. So stop using immature name calling and wordplay to keep me from putting my own input.
On a side note, that's how I felt about the L4D2 "Boycott". I don't like the term boycott, but only because I thought it was unnecessary. It should be that if you don't think the product is worth it, you don't buy it in the first place. But fucking ass holes like Adam Sessler, go out and use the "cry baby" argument, and say it's ridiculous for consumers to feel they're entitled to something. Consumers have every right to feel that they're entitled to something, and if there's enough consumers that feel that way, then companies will eventually have to adapt. If there's not enough, companies can keep going. So Valve might come out of the heat unscathed, or it might bite them in the ass to lose the support base and safety net they had for so many years. Who knows, but to criticize the process of competition is absolute shit.
====================
And I do read the pros and cons... that's exactly what a review is made up of. What, did you think I just looked at the score and bought it? It's just that the reviewers over hype the positives, and downplay or don't mention the negatives.
