Forums - Gaming - It's a Crime for a Game to look this good. Lost Planet 2. Awesome.

Looks beautiful, but not in a case for best graphics IMO

Anyways, what is Lost Planet anyway? Never played the first one

Around the Network

It does look great, but you should just say that then, Selnor - "it looks great".

You just lose credibility when you come out with statements like "Killzone 2 doesn't even come close to Lost Planet 2 for graphics".

Seriously, good looking game but keep it in perspective.

The game looks great, slightly better than RE5 it appears to have better lighting and possibly some bumped textures?

@ PS3/360 comparison on RE5, they are basically the same, the slight differences are not due to inferior graphics, messing around with the brightness on your TV will result in them looking almost exactly the same. However, as a multi-platform engine it does not make the same strides as KZ2, uncharted 2 or gears 2 do.

You've been working really hard to undermine the ps3 graphics recently OP, is there any specific reason for this? Possibly insecurity? Regardless, the textures are beautiful, the lighting is beautiful, but the colors and world feel stale and dead. There's more to a graphics engine than just that, and if you played Killzone 2 you might understand why it is still the best looking console game.

I stand by gears 2, and Killzone 2 looking superior to this, but not by much. Uncharted is pretty close.

Killzone 2 and LP2 have very similar aesthetics, but if you put them side by side the effects that KZ2 offers will surely push it over the edge.

The reason i'll like this game then any other TPS this gen is because of Character Creation.

That sells for me, that alone makes it better then Gears1/2, KZ2, Halo 2, R1/R2, RE5, Etc...
