Halo wowed me even more than Half-Life 1 did, and I was a strict PC gamer at the time. I almost bought an Xbox because of that one game.

At the time when Halo 1 came out, it was revolutionary, but now it's been surpassed by so many better looking and more enjoyable games.

Same. I bought an Xbox because of Halo, as did... almost all of my friends that had one. But then again, that's why Xbox is "the house that Halo built."

nah, I disagree, I havent played an FPS as good as Halo 1 since.

Ha some chance of these graphics on the current xbox 360, it couldn't even run MGS4 on it so Kojima had to build a whole new engine for Rising. The PS3 can produce FAR better graphics than the xbox, see God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 when they come out for proof. Or just play Killzone now.

All look better than MGS4, KZ2 and GOW3 ( GOW3 isn't particularly impressive ). Uncharted 2 is debateable. But certainly no PS3 game is out in front if you talk to many gamers around the forums.

Rising also will look better than MGS4. The reason why the engine is being changed is because is wasn't optimized for 360. You need a reality check.
