It is repulsive how lightly this is being taken. There was a serial rapist and now jokes are being cracked about it.

It's being taken as a joke because nothing bad happened to any of the people involved (Come on people always joke on how there's no female rapists around). Worst thing is they got to have sex (which they would have anyways had she not put them to sleep) and they dont remember about it. There's not a lot of damage that can be done to a male as opposed to that that could be done to a woman during a forced sexual act.

You might have to live with people making jokes about certain things in life or else you will see yourself too pressured by everything and might break down emotionally. An advice is you may want to stay out of adult related themes while you are still a young kid to avoid feeling that the humanity is lost.

So date rape is nothing bad? Thats what this was you realize. If a guy had slipped ten girls a roofie and then fucked their brains out you would in no way be saying the same thing. It never ceases to amaze me how detached people can be from the reality of a situation meerly because of the genders of the people involved. Rape is rape.

You also seriously need to try and comprehend what you read. I am going to quote a line for you to consider. "Waking up in hospital with clonidine poisoning and penis trauma," But no physical damage right? The penis traume was entirely unrelated to the rope tied around it to constrict the blood flow which could actually cause the flesh to die and rot off. Nothing major though right?

In this thread, our sexism plays a large role in our perception of this. We perceive the male to not be emotionally affected by this, and we validate our thoughts through our stereotypes. We then assume it is okay to make jokes about this. I even detect a hint of sexism in your post.

@Gnizmo: You need to realize that we are talking here about videogames while thousands of people die in unfair situations, horrible accidents, children suffer hunger and abuse. If a couple of guys with a bad sexual experience who didn't die, nor suffered permanent physical consequences, and whose perpetrator is already behind bars, gets you this concerned, then you must be Mother Theresa, but I know you like to pretend you care. I didn't see you post in the thread about another Airbus that went down with 155 people today.

Women tend to be more emotionally offended by sexual crimes than men, that's true. I never said they may or may not have been traumatized for the rest of their lives, but I'm not making fun of these guys per se. Most of the times someone makes a joke it's about a situation, without taking into account the people. I don't even know who these guys are. Just relax and laugh a bit. I know rape is a crime and an inmoral thing to do, but the last guy's comments were funny, even he took it lightly.

The world is full of unfair people, there's nothing we can do about it. Sooner or later they get what they deserve. Dare you ever take justice on your own hands for every single unfair act and you will become even more unfair than them. There was no sexism in my post by the way.
