It's so hard to get a joke on the internet these days :P
If some people think Stephen Colbert is an actual christian right neoconservative, some people can fail to get the joke of this thread.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

so true, its almost no surpriss since these arguments could easily be something a Jack Thompsom fanboy, or at least someone who could definitely make an argument that sounds so much like one of Jack's gripes that its unmistakably his.

I think the terms "fanboy" and "Jack Thompson" are mutually exclusive; they can't really exist together :-p
But I see what you're saying.
Kinda. Funny how I've never read a single one of "Jack's gripes" and end writing something that sounds like it's "unmistakebly his". That's kind of the essence of satire: mimic but be absurd. Guess you don't consider an attempt to bad a 14 year old DOS game absurd.
Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.
I thought this was going to be some crazy shit Thompson was saying about himself....he thinks he's Batman, you know.

Hahah, very nice post. Good job.
(how could you not know that it is a joke?)
