Forums - Gaming - Motion control is FAD. Creativity is here to stay.

Hahaha, man, the hate will never end XD ... It's amazing just how frightened and threatened some of these so-called 'hardcore' gamers feel by the Wii legacy. :p

It seems to me the author is more peeved at the notion of Natal than anything else, because both the Sony wand and the Wiimote would allow you to not have to do power slides under your coffee table to get results in a game, hypothetically only Natal will.

Freakouts like this are predictable (and hilarious). I think it's more fun if we don't tell him that the Wii has games you can play on the couch and so will the 360 and PS3 after their motion controllers arrive.

Haha, either troll or sarcasm post. Either way I don't care, 'cuz it's just stupid...

I fully agree with this.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Another day, another hardcore panic attack.

Good times.

Edit: The best part about this is how idiotic he sounds. It's like he's trying to encapsulate and perpetuate the myth that 'video games are for fat, lonely virgins'. He's actually angry at people for trying to make video games mainstream, instead of being the purview of asocial lepers that it has been in the past.

Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.

Acolyte of Disruption

I thought it was cute and funny when my co-worker's son 10 years old thought that playing Prince of Persia on the Wii, he would have to actually jump over walls and do backflips in his living room.

Now coming from this guy it sounds kinda sad. How stupid do you have to be to think that there will ever be a game where you have to launch yourself across your living room spinning like a human drill?

Signature goes here!

I love the tears of the hardcore.
