Im usually against piracy except in the case where A: You have a disability and cant access media easy like for example a paraplegic and B: When you're dirt poor and couldn't afford it even if you made sacrafices.
I usually hate to own things, I have this thing about wasted space! Everything I own has to justify itself and I frequently sell games because I dislike the thought of owning and not using them. Thats why I like digital distribution because everything takes up very little space!

I pirate stuff, but I don't try to justify it, nor do I pretend that I'm a Saint. I just hate people who either try to justify it, or act really pretenious (not you of course).
It's actually the opposite for me. I don't care about collecting. But if I rent a game I enjoy, I end up itching to play it, and wished I've bought it, but then when I do buy it, I end up not wanting to play it anymore XD. I guess, scaricity makes things more appealing and enjoyable (e.g. water).
But, I understand how you don't want to own so many things, when you can't possibly use them all. But, I don't see how downloads really bypasses that. You still own the media, only in digital form, and you don't use it. And it becomes even more the same to owning unused physical media when you actually buy it.

I don't usually answer personal questions from people who don't have platinum trophies... but alas its in my profile, so I have to answer. New Zealand is the place I come from.
The reason is not about owning and not using, I don't religeously sweep my HDDs or anything like that. Its just that I like the thought of being able to pick up two suitcases and walk out with my life. I feel possessions really tie you down and 20 DVD cases can really weigh you down. Its the size of the media when you start collecting a bunch.

Lol, anyway, I'm gonna fucking get my first Platinum!!!! I pretty much got half of the trophies by playing all good in inFamous, so all I need to do is play evil, Bio Leech everyone, and get all the Blast Shards (unless that's not a trophy...)
