People aren't gonna change formats and upgrade their entire past collections w/o significant benefits.

DVD is everywhere. Just like VHS was, of course, but DVD was huge over VHS: more data/special features; better picture & sound; easier to store; and, ultimately, cheaper.

I just don't think Blu-Ray is a big enough leap over DVD to justify the switch to most people.

I already back when DVD's got started switched from VHS to DVD. I will probably not move again as in the past 5-6years I have only bought 4 movies. I do not know what it is, but anymore I can not stand to watch them.
