I think it would sell closer to last year's number than 13 million. The growth earlier this year has slowed down and it's hard to see MS move 1.2 millions more than last holiday season even with price cut.



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Agreed. If there wasn't a world wide recession than i would say it has a strong possibillity.

444,931 per month to catch it by Jan 2011. 102,676 per week.
266,958 per month to catch it by Jan 2012. 61,606 per week.

the YOY growth so far thing is bulslhit, last year they did not have a pricecut yet so expect it to go down soon

look at hoilday 08 the 360 sold 1 million consoles in a month
during the hoilday season and sony should like a million in 3 months in the same time

 

By the time 2010 ends, the 360 will have hit at least 45M.

You know, once you think about it they are on track to double what the first xbox did.
