you never know, Bioware might be able to dethrone wow with their star wars TOR.  Have yet to see anything substantial on it, but if anybody can do it, I think it would be Bioware.

Yeah but people were saying the same thing for months when Warhammer was announced, and look at it now. Same for EA's backing of Lord of the Rings online.

Though Bioware has the biggest chance to be successful It's going It's work cut out for them. I hope Bioware somewhat succeeds because they are my favorite WRPG company (just ahead of Bethesda) so I don't want to see them in any sort of trouble to the point EA slaps them around.

I'm confused, I thought midway published lord of the rings online.  Yeah, people did have way to high of expectations for warhammer, and age of conan.  Although, if age of conan's whole game were as polished as the starting area, it could have been a massive hit. 

Like I said though, if anybody were to ever have a chance against blizzard, Bioware would be the guys.

I've been waiting for Age of Conan.  Apparently, they are still working on it and its coming out sometime in 2009.
