lol what's funny is even with 4 times next year it's still a long way to go to catch up for you guys.... I hope it will help.... because in a way MS needs Sony to have competion... if Sony is gone and nintendo got its own market..... MS will end up like with windows.... a big monopoly... with a lack of quality because of lack of competitor on the same market....
and even though do you really think you'll have 4 different wave for every game... you have to have group connection and I doubt it on LBP and GT..... I don't contest the quality and the number of possible sale of those games... but I doubt they'll do a comparable effect to MGS4, FFXIII or Halo 3.... it will be more like a GOW effect or a Bioshock......

 Just like how Gears of War helped sell a "few" 360s last year during the holiday season?

 I expect when late November rolls around Halo 3 will get a nice second wind.

I just believe that the majority of halo fans who are/were going to buy a 360 did when Gears of War came out, then nearly all of those who were still 360-less did so last week and this week. The final 2% that needed an excuse to buy a 360 for Halo 3 will not push its hardware number above Wii anymore.

I said before that halo will do 3.5m in software in its first two weeks. But, I only expect 300k in hardware. That, difference tells me that my theory of halo's affect on hardware is pretty accurate. Otherwise I would expect to see a much higher ratio.

Well the same thing can be said about the Wii. Those who wanted Super Mario Galaxy or WiiFit already own a Wii and is waiting for the game to come out.

And the same thing can be said for PS3.

Well, I guess it was their turn. Didn't Wii have the top spot for a Week or two? *wink wink* Wii will be in control this winter, so Xbox better enjoy this while it lasts.

Does the PS3 has anything else than these 4 games to survive next year ? For what I know the 360 has also some interesting exclusive like Lost Odissey, Too Human, Fable 2 or Halo Wars.


Dont forget about White Knight Story! Well, Im not sure when that comes out but damn. I need that game. We will be lucky if FFXIII actually comes out for us next year.

The 360 wont exactly just twiddle its thumbs as you mentioned, which seems to be what alot of Sony fanboys would like to think.

Im sure there is alot of stuff in the works that we dont even know about yet (for all consoles).

Oh yes the wait until next year argument. Its starting to get tiring. Anyhow, I doubt any of those games will see the midnight lines that halo 3 saw. I doubt any of those games will sell near what halo 3 sold. (etc) Anyways, Next year looks great. Halo Wars Fable 2 GTA 4 Alan Wake Gow2.. Oh, I'm getting ahead of myself I still have this year to look forward too!
