2010 is too early.

A 2 year development cycle is really pushing the boundaries for the level of quality you can have, even when sequels are starting with all the underpinnings (game engine, pre-existing cast of characters, in game resources) in place.

But I'd likely pick up a sequel to infamous if it were released in 2011, assuming they improved and added to the formula (likely, Uncharted 2) rather than change what worked in the original (Resistance 2).

If Sucker Punch wanted to, they could easily do a sequel with a new cast of characters, a hero/villain with different powers and a new city, despite the somewhat open ended conclusion to the original which I found satisfying, even though it ends with you running around an enemy free city, closing up any little details you might have missed. I wasn't terribly attached to any of the characters in the game; not sure if I'm in the minority here.

They can pull a Deus Ex II and have a combine the two endings.

I want Sucker Punch to forget about the home space and make more content!!! Home is for people who spend too much time not playing your game anyway!

Tease.

I find it ironic that someone who plays video games criticizes people about how they spend their time... you do know that we're looked down upon in society, as people who spend too much time not living our real lives.

I find it ironic that the same argument can be used to counter your post.

But I'm not arguing that video games, nor Home, is a waste of time, but only stating that society looks down upon us for the same reason as you looked down upon Home users. Baisicly I just found you to be sorta hypocritical, you criticizing other people to be wasting their time and not doing anything productive when the same can be said for yours. Therefore you can't use my argument counter my post, because all I was arguing is that you're using your logic selectively. If you recognize how this is creating some kind of loop, then you should reject your original statement.

If you want my personal opinion, I think that all escpaism is escpaism. And that we shouldn't indulge in it to the point that it ruins our lives and bodies, but that it's necessary for us to relieve the stress and harshness of reality.

lol.  good come back.

akvod you just started a circular argument there my friend...

No, because my argument wasn't that video games were a waste of time... I'm actually pointing out how squilliam is just selectively using the argument against Home, without realizing the same could be said for video games.

But im not passing judgement on Home users so your argument has little merit!

It didn't sound like you were looking at Home users in a positive way in your OP...
