Theres a pretty simple commandment, though shalt not kill and just because your dad or your uncle or your friend, heck even your government tells you to kill someone doesn't over-rule it.

I agree. But some x-ians dont interpret the Bible that way. I dunno why, I cant remember their arguments for it at the moment.

Such is the unfortunate truth.

My favourite site for a while was http://www.truechristian.com/

Oh dear... That site is full of epic fail. I click on and the first thing I see is an racist gif poking fun at Obama being black.

Then I saw statements like the earth uss flat, pi = 3.00, evolution is false... I realised it was a joke site, pretty funny lol.

Wow.  That's the funniest thing I've seen all day.

That's just... so horrible it's funny.

LOL, agreed. That is so terrible you can't help but laugh.

The argument is that God allowed our leaders to be put into place, so we are to obey them. Obviously there is a fine line here, but it is not murder, and God does not want people to live under slavery, which can be the result of losing a war.

Hmm, well that's a terrible argument. I thought the bible implied Satan rules over this 'wicked world'. It calls him the 'god of this world', 'ruler of this world', in the bible, and there's other verses that imply Satan is pulling the strings or has a much more profound influence on earths inhabitants and rulers than God.

YHWH doesn't want people to live under slavery? Oh, that explains the guidelines for keeping slaves in the bible...

Yeah, but those were mostly other people that weren't gods people, except for the times he put his own people in slavery, but that was just to show them what's up. So I mean god doesn't want (his) people to be slaves, except for the times he's got show the whiny bitches who's boss. then it's generations of slavery. Because nothing says bad ass like punishing people for things their ancestors did. The divine version of "I'm gonna kick your ass so hard, your grandchildren will feel it!"
