Star Ocean is a good game but the story is painful and has some awful voice acting, 'kay. Lost Odyssey is a better game than Star Ocean but Vesperia is the best of the three in my opinion.

Vesperia easily. The PS3 version isn't even guaranteed to get a localization (though it is incredibly likely) and from what I've checked Vesperia should've dropped down in price to $30 as opposed to the $60 SO4 is at. At that price, if you end up enjoying the game enough you can probably still get a good value even with a PS3 purchase of the game in the future.

If you played the previous Star Ocean games and enjoyed the battle system, you'd probably enjoy SO4. But if you didn't, stay away.

I think I'm gonna get Vesperia since everyone thinks its all the rage lol
and I'll wait for Star ocean for like..the fall or something even though I've heard good things about the battle system

Also, if Tales of Vesperia gets better reviews for the PS3 ill just buy it then or borrow it from a friend lol
