How long has the new chipset been out?

Wii - 1.5% - Not too many, but it has happened to me.
PS3- 2.0 As far as I know,they are pretty sturdy. I mean they are 46 lbs.
360- 92% - Out of 13 people I know who own a 360, 12 have bricked. You do the math.

To all the people in here (which seems to be everyone) who is claiming that PS3 has a higher failure rate than Wii, care to share where you are getting this information from? Or are you just making wild estimations out of nowhere?

As long as mine don't fail I think they're all perfectly fine.

XD except that the PS3 doesn't work at that point...YLOD is the same error as the RROD, just on a different console.X

Wii 3% (if counting the Wii not reading some disks, otherwise, 1.5%)

PS3 6% (currently growing...I hope it gets nipped at the bud, I don't want to get burned when I buy one)

360 8% (currently slowing down...perhaps the new 360 will not have this problem at all)

PS3: 100% - Mine broke once
360: 300% - My friend had one that broke 3 times. You do the math.
