XenoGear FTW. it changed the how i looked at all games after it. It was truly Ahead of its time in story and gameplay depth. how i miss the golden age of squaresoft (xenogears, FF tactics, FF7 for me)

Well for me Xenogears is sooooooooooooooooooooo much better then Chrono Trigger. Chrono Trigger was a really great game but Xenogears was just beyond great. There is no words to discribe how amazing it was. It has the best storyline you would fined in a videogame, very deep and lovable characters, the best music i've ever heard in a jrpg, an amazing atmosphere and even after all of these years it still has a combat system that is one of a kind. Truly a timeless masterpiece.

here's another way to look at it Xenogear was so impactful that namco were ready to sign the devlopers from under square and make 6 game in xenosaga which only 3 were made due to the shortcomings of episode 2 in sales. now the devlopers have been bought up by nintendo to put out some good games one of which was anonunced at E3 and its an RPG for the wii

Chrono trigger is the reason I got into rpg games. Chrono Trigger all the way!!

Both are great RPG but Xenogears for me. I like the gears.

I skipped Xenogears (even though I did play Xenosaga) but you are making me want to play it. Hopefully, it will be a PSN download, soon.

I like them both but I think Xenogears is a little bit better in terms of story.
