2 player run of secret of mana?

(if she doesn't like it dump her)

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

Try her out with little kings story, my girlfriend sounds very similar to yours where game tastes are concerned and she absolutely loved lks. There's loads of exploration to be done and soooooooooo much to collect it's a hoarders dream game, lol, no moral choices but there's an over arching theme throughout that perhaps you're not doing the right thing, mmmmmm :) Little kings story ftw

nintendo and sega fan since i was old enough to hold a game controller.

note: my games collection on my profile is only 20ish% complete, i've got a boatload of 360,saturn and dreamcast games to add and a few ps3 games, thanks :)

Secret of Mana is still good looking. As is a Link to the Past.

Otherwise, Chrono Trigger for DS?

Here are some games my girlfriend recommends (she also liked Fable 2 and Chrono Trigger as well):

PSP
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
*Shin Magami Tensei: Persona

DS
Lux-Pain
Time Hollow

PC
The Sims 3

360
Ghostbusters

*Not out until September 22, 2009 but she played the original and liked it a lot.

Ah, interesting suggestions. I hadn't heard of Lux-Pain, but I'm pretty sure she'll like all of those.

Thanks everyone. That gives me lots of stuff to try out for her.

Saints Row 2. I mean it.

Eternal Sonata would be good choice - my current girlfriend likes it, but she likes to kill some zombies in most gruesome way in Dead Rising too and often makes fun out of this which is quite amusing so who knows. she's a gamer(and sadly kicks my ass in every fighting game i will play with her :/) so i guess it doesn't count.
my personal pick: Eternal Sonata, Little King's Story or Rune Factory: Frontier.
i would also recommend games with offline co-op/multiplayer - that always does the job, no matter if it's a girl-gamer or not.

Paper Mario series?

Doesn't have the choice thing but they're still fantastic and probably wouldn't be a horrible idea since she liked Chrono Trigger.  Thinking of Chrono Trigger, there's also FFVI.  I'm assuming she knows nothing about it so it would be fun to watch her experience everything for the first time.

I was thinking the same thing my wife loves Super Paper Mario on the Wii and its pretty much the only "hardcore" game that she will play.
