Forums - Microsoft - Rumour: 320GB or 500GB HDD coming.

Yikes, those are gonna be expensive...

Anyway it only takes half an hour of messing around to just buy your own 120GB 2.5inch drive and flash the firmware + format it in correctly and you don't have to pay anything extra. This will be the case for the new drives to so...I can't wait!

They better put at least the 20 gig inside the arcade.

I really hope the 120gb gets a price drop bellow $100, having a 20gb hdd is so frustrating.

@SamuelIRSmith

What do you mean up it yourself? Is there a way of using a standard hdd on the 360 I don't know of?

I'm sure the rumor is true. I just picked up a 120gb drive after all.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

Honestly, the next rational step for the arcade is to put in 16GB-32GB or so of flash memory - it's likely that the cost of a 20GB hard drive and 16GB of flash is about the same at this point.

That would be cool if they did.

Speaking about this - I'd love to see SSD option for X360.

Do you realize potential of SSD drive with 100-150MB/s reads and full game installs? That would be totaly awesome.
