my friend whom I'm really amazed with was on R2, Home, KZ2, SOCOM, COD5 (360), Uncharted 2(his copy of Infamous didn't even include a beta key like mine) and now Far Princess Beta and that's the games I know about didn't ask him about Warhawk or Bad Company. He is a Qure(sp?) annual subscriber and an IGN Insider but still he got KZ2 and another Betas from different sites how the hell he does it I don't know.

Yes, for those who dont know G.A.P stands for "Gamer Advisory Panel" and is a Sony Invite only. You have to be registered with playstation.com and be a productive user (or atleast that's how it supose to work).

In the early days G.A.P members received free goodies like t-shirts, baseball caps, pens etc, as a welcome package. You also get invited to closed betas and get demos etc before it hits the public.

You can't apply for membership and there is no specific forum or website other than playstation.com. It's Sony who decides on who gets invited or not, and if chosen they contact you via your registered e-mail with the information on how to go from there. You'll get a GAP button on your playstation.com profile when it's all done.

There is also RAP (Retail Advisory Panel) and RLS (Retail Loyalty Site) "memberships"


Anyhow... Hope the MAG beta, if it does surface, will be among G.A.P members.
