Forums - Microsoft - Kodu "Game Building Tool" to be released June 30th!!

This software is either going to allow game sharing and be awesome, or is not and will be a dud. I'll definitely purchase if it's the former.

From the Kodu site:

The blue arrow on the big tile shows you that this world is marked for sharing. This means that when you enter a sharing session other folks will be able to download this level from you. More on sharing later...

Very cool. I'm hoping you can create and share more than one level. Since it's game creation, I'm hoping you can share an entire game full of as many levels as you concoct.

This is a great idea and a wonderful price. Wonder if Microsoft isn't trying to find the creators of their next big franchise.

Looks to be pretty neat. And $5 seems like a pretty good darn deal to me. Definitely gonna check this out.

Well, I hope they have a server up where you can vote on favorites and so on...

Ok, I desire it have a little bit of LBP in it. It doesn't have Sackboys, so no comparisons. Sackboys make all the difference.

Yeah, the $5 price tag is awesome!!

The only down side I can really see is the lack of the ability to put your own texture in from a professional peice of software like Adobe and such

edit:  It runs on PC to so I'll take that back...hmm I'm interested even more now
