Gamestop's Buy 2 Get 1 free promo ran this past weekend. All I can say is that this may have been the worst B2G1 free as every Gamestop location I visited had no good games on shelves.

Actually, in two stores I went to it seemed  they pulled newer ($55 and $35 used titles) titles off the shelves so they wouldn't take a hit financially.

The only highlight was I was able to pick up Heavenly Sword for $25 used. For those who don't have Heavenly Sword that $25 price tag is good through 6/25.

I got an inside tip for you. All gamestops are now mandated to put only 1-2 copys of every game new or used out on the shelves. What this means is if they are busy they dont have alot of time to put the most popular ones back out. So you got there and they had sold alot of games already, and did not have time to put games back out.

A little tip for all those looking for games at places like gamestop. ALWAYS ask if the store has a game instock if you dont see it. Some kid may have moved the game (hate those graby kids!!), or they may have not put a case back out yet. They have a list of all the games they have instock in the computer.

O and I picked up a 60gig HD for the 360, Left 4 Dead, and Sacred 2! It was awsome + my discount stacked. :D

PS: they are not alowed to remove games from the shelves when sales hit. They would rather sell all 3 games for the price of 2 because they hope you will come back, and they still make some money just not as much.

You are suspecting way too much out of Gamestop employee's. Most of them are 16-18 year old kids that thought it was awesome to work in a video game store and are now texting 90 percent of the time while listening to phone calls about how they need to sell more warranties and pre-orders. They probably are not going to hide games on you.

Silliest thing I've ever heard. They make so much off of used products that there is no way they would want to pull them. The reason they are able to do the B2G1F sales so much is because they make so much off of them. Gamestop knows what they are doing trust me. By being the only main competitor in that area, they efficiently use the capitalist market to their advantage. Luckily it also helps us a lot out as well because I take advantage of the sale every time.

Wow I just picked up Ratchet & Clank and Heavenly Sword the weekend before, if only I waited until this weekend.

Yep. I do love these buy 2 get 1 free deal. I picked up Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil Code Veronica for the GameCube.
