Forums - Microsoft - Achievement Unlocked: ( All About Easy Achievements )

King Kong was easy, just beat the game to get all 1000. It takes about 5 hours or so.

I don't have any games with easy achievements

1000 in 24 seconds? um

I know Fight Night Round 3 and King Kong had easy achievements.

Terrible list. While some of the games definitely have easy achievements, others listed definitely don't. Bioshock's achievements require a lot of backtracking, and you have to explore every corner. And Dead Rising's achievements will kill you with the repetition.

Okay, take back what I said earlier. This list isn't just terrible, it's god awful. Seriously, they listed GTA4? It's claimed in the articles that you can get 700 points from 2 playthroughs. They also forgot to mention that the average playthrough is at least 20 hours, and that's if you're playing it in speed mode. The list should have consisted of games like Avatar, King Kong, and Fight Night. Instead, they were just grasping for any old game.

Yeah, I'm not afraid to admit that I rented Avatar to get the 1000 achievements.

Games like that aside, I actually like games that give you a lot of achievements pretty easily. As long as I'm getting a steady stream of achievements, I'll keep playing. The games where I play for five hours and still have less than 100 points I usually end up putting down.

Respect +1!

Prince of Persia is pretty easy. Any old playthrough can net you about 800+ Gamerscore as long as you get all the orbs, which takes about 15 hours total. The last 200 or so GS are a bit more difficult, but not overly so, but they do practically require a second playthrough for the speed run and dying less than 100 times achievements at least.

I have some pretty hard titles. I can vouch for Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 being brutal. Basically most of the achievements involve maxing out getting every accessory for each female in the game, which is basically a 10+ hour playthrough per female to collect everything for a single character. There are 9 characters total.

@Onyxmeth: Prince of Persia can be done in 1 playthrough. Just grab the minimum amount of light seeds needed to complete the main story for the speed run achievement, then reload a save to get the remaining light seeds. For "be gentle" reload whenever you die. I actually died quite a few times without reloading and still unlocked that achievement.

@MontanaHatchet: I agree that this list is lousy. Nearly all retail 360 games gives 500-700 points with a little time and effort. It's the remaining 300-500 points that set games apart and really determines their achievement difficulty. This list should've focused on easy games to acquire 1000. There are at least 20 to 30 of them. Dead Rising, L4D, The Godfather and GTA4 definitely aren't among them and all 4 of those games have achievements that are either very difficult, time consuming or both. They say 600 in one Dead Rising playthrough with no effort? LOL Since the game is time constrained and has a difficult save system, that's certainly gonna take some effort and knowledge of the achievements beforehand.
