advance wars is a f*****g great serie, all this games are awesome. 

Funny thing is how big this series actually is. There are a bunch of these games in japanese that we never brought to the US. Including one on the original NES.

I haven't played dual strike yet - but I'm happy more advance wars games coming.

I hope they keep a lot of the new DS /AW2 characters. I never really liked the originals (except Sami, her super move was uber powerful, but for the rest of the game she is too damn weak)

I really hope they add more infantry. I like infantry but really they're completely useless in battle.

Advance Wars II is still my most played DS title, and one of (if not my absolute) favorites. It rocks, and I can't recommend it more.

If AWIII (or whatever it is called) hits the DS this year, I might as well take an early Xmas break.

 no, this is a turn based strategic game, but you must play it to know how adictive this game can be.
