If you don't believe me please go ahead and ask the question on this forum. Make a topic about it. I'm sure you'll find the results quite overwhelming. It was reviewed well because it was Final Fantasy and it's always going to be reviewed well, regardless of it's quality. It was simply not a good game. The sales data agrees. It barely outsold FFX-2.

It can still be a good game with those sales. I never said it was the best game ever I only said it was good. FF sales generally slows down in PS consoles like FFIX on ps1 and FFXII only been out for 6 monhts in europe we dont know yet the final sales. And I am not going to start a topic about it in this forum and you probably know why. You could probably have gotten me just by showing FFVIII sales the game I hate. But I accept that other people like the game when I dont. Check out gamerankings and look at the reviews you cant clame that all of them are biased 4 reivews of 72 have given the game lower then 80%. And now it is when you see that this discussion is not going anywhere.

I don't think they are biased, I just think it's the industry catering to big games.  It always happens.  I also said most FF fans don't like it.  This is true.  It's kind of hard to discuss this with you because you obviously don't spend much time in any forums representative of the FF community.  However, if you go to some place like gamefaqs you would see this pretty clearly.  I'm not saying that some people didn't like it, I'm just saying that the majority of FF fans didn't.  Which is true.

naznatips: It is still pretty disturbing that you are claiming that "Most FF fans dont like the game". It would have been better if you said many people dont like the game. But now its like you are speaking for all the fans and that is not right.

Actually I found FFXII refreshing and enjoyable compared to the previous FF tripe.

I'm speaking from my experience in FF community sites Yojimbo. Obviously some people liked it, but I have yet to find any site other than a site dedicated specifically to FFXII that had more members who liked it than disliked it. I can't be sure that most did, and 90% is probably too high, but it's simply not a popular FF game. I'm not saying this because I dislike it. I dislike FFVII too, but that doesn't mean I don't recognize it's popularity. It's still the most popular FF game. I'm saying that it's unpopular simply because I have never been to an FF community site where the majority liked it. Not once.
