Didn't GT2 come on 2 disc?

Even if it did, it's not blu-ray so it doesn't count

True.

But it should stop people criticising Forza 3 for doing the same.

Well no it wont.

It sure did....though it was on 2 CDs not 2 DVDs so it doesn't count

Being in 2nd feels so much better than being in 3rd

Let's make this simple.

In an attempt to discredit Forza 3 you try to make it seem like forza 3 would be the first racing game with 2 discs

I asked if this was a first, so where's the lie?

You said it's the first multi DVD racing game, I already knew there have been past racing games on multiple disc. Like for instance Super Cars 2 supplied on 2 3.5 inch diskettes on the Amiga.

880KB diskettes were pretty limiting for Amiga gaming.

In that thread you posted a link to prove your point, the link was in dutch so you figured i wouldn´t uderstand

According to Dutch law if the product is defect within a normal life expectance (at least 3 years for the PS3), you can hold the seller (retailer) responsible. You don't agree, then don't. But I know someone who successfully made use of this option recently through Media Markt. I really don't understand why this upsets you. Why is it bad to help someone?

If you already knew that there had been past racing games on multiple discs, including for your beloved Amiga, then why did you ask?  It was nothing more than blatant trolling against the 360 and Forza 3, and you showing your true colors.

We have very different notions of what's trolling and what's not. I think it's one of the most normal questions a gamer can ask, just like asking if a harddrive is a minimal requirement (which many 360 owners don't have and would need to upgrade to run this game).

Many 360 fanboys argued (not all) that DVD should be enough for almost any kind of game (except for RPGs) and a harddrive shouldn't be in there by default. How can someone provide counter arguments if they aren't allowed to ask such questions regarding a 360 exclusive game which isn't a RPG?

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

Mike, the context in which you "asked" the question tells all. You are really starting to look foolish...and a bit elitist in the way you seem to think we are stupid enough to buy your argument. Give it a rest man.

Way to completely ignore your huge contradiction, MikeB.

So the most normal question a gamer can ask is one he already knows the answer to and merely asks to stealthily troll a game with which is on a system you do not favor and is attacking the game which is on the system you do favor.  Interesting.

So I guess in a perfect world we are all trolls so what MikeB does is ok.

Is any mod seeing this?  I mean seriously of all the things we put up with on this forum, MikeB has earned his perma-boot in the ass.

Here's the problem MikeB no amount of yabbering about BluRay is gonna make more people buy PS3. No amount of Yabbering about 'fake power advantage' is gonna make people buy PS3. Maybe you should get your company to do a deal with M$, and then you wont have to make yourself look silly all the time plugging the PS3 with silly statements. Just a thought. The 360 is selling more, so you'd likely be more richer.

To quote you MikeB " I think it's one of the most normal questions a gamer can ask, just like asking if a harddrive is a minimal requirement (which many 360 owners don't have and would need to upgrade to run this game)."

You do not need a HDD to run the game, it is only required for some of the extra content which I'm pretty sure will not prevent a arcade user from playing the game. The worst case scenario is they would not have all cars and/or tracks available, that being said Micrsoft do offer a cheap HDD upgrade option anyway. I don't understand why you make such statements when you must know them to be false, if you don't know about a situation then keep quiet or find out by researching properly.
